About the role
Rubicon Organics Inc is seeking a Harvesting Supervisor to lead crop deleafing and overall harvesting operations on its Vancouver farm. The role combines hands‑on field work with supervision of staff, safety oversight, and record‑keeping responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
- Direct crop deleafing and oversee harvesting activities.
- Organise daily tasks and coordinate general farm workers and labourers.
- Implement and monitor farm safety and bio‑security procedures.
- Maintain financial, production, quality‑control and work‑log records.
- Supervise growing operations, operate and maintain farm machinery, and hire and train staff.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
- 2–3 years of experience in agricultural harvesting or a related field.
- Fluency in Spanish (Castilian) is an asset.
