Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead day‑to‑day accounting operations in a multi‑entity environment, partnering closely with finance leadership and operational stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop a multi‑location accounting team of over 20 indirect employees.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and analysis of financial and operational data.
• Partner with department leaders to support cost management, projects and business initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, consistency and accuracy.
• Maintain documentation for processes, controls and key decisions.
• Monitor regulatory changes and support ongoing compliance.
• Liaise with external advisors on accounting, tax and audit matters.
• Provide finance subject‑matter expertise on cross‑functional projects.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable teams as needed.

Required profile

• CPA designation required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibility.
• Proven ability to manage and influence large teams, including oversight of more than 20 indirect employees.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and core accounting operations.
• Experience with ERP platforms; SAP FSCM experience is mandatory.
• Ability to interpret financial and operational data and communicate insights to business leaders.
• Demonstrated people‑management skills: coaching, performance evaluation, hiring and team development.
