Account Executive – SaaS Sales

About the role
TechPOS International Corp, a Canadian SaaS provider for retail point‑of‑sale and management solutions, is expanding its sales team in Vancouver. The Account Executive will own a full‑cycle sales process, from prospecting to closing, and help grow the company’s footprint across new retail markets.
Key responsibilities
- Build and manage a personal pipeline of qualified opportunities through outbound outreach, referrals, inbound leads and market research.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects’ current systems, operational challenges and business priorities.
- Deliver tailored product demos and prepare proposals, pricing, and sales documentation.
- Negotiate timelines, handle objections and guide prospects to signed agreements.
- Maintain accurate records in HubSpot and the CRM, updating pipeline status and activity logs.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Onboarding teams after closing deals.
- Represent TechPOS at meetings, trade shows and industry events.
Required profile
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience in technology, retail systems or related business services.
- Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline independently and meet follow‑up commitments.
- Comfortable speaking with owners, operators and multi‑location retail teams.
- Strong questioning, listening and solution‑selling skills.
- Competitive, organized and accountable.
Required skills
- HubSpot (or similar CRM) proficiency.
