Workplace Operations Manager (Part‑time)

About the role
We are looking for a highly organized, people‑focused Workplace Operations Manager to lead HR administration, employee relations, office operations and talent acquisition for our Canadian office. This part‑time position (approximately 10‑15 days per month) will be the primary local point of contact for employees, leadership, clients and facilities, ensuring a productive, compliant and well‑managed work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the main HR contact for employees, providing guidance on day‑to‑day HR matters and supporting onboarding, off‑boarding and documentation.
- Partner with HR Business Partner and leadership on employee relations, performance issues, attendance and workplace concerns.
- Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communications and maintain recruitment records.
- Ensure accurate, confidential maintenance of employee records, HR documentation and compliance with company policies.
- Oversee daily office operations, manage facility‑management relationships, and maintain office inventory (laptops, stationery, snacks, etc.).
- Manage petty cash and ensure accurate financial administration.
- Organise client visits and support local operational improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- People‑focused with experience in HR administration and employee relations.
- Knowledge of HR compliance, policy enforcement and attendance management.
- Experience managing office facilities, inventory and basic financial tasks such as petty‑cash handling.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with leadership and external partners.
- Availability to work on‑site for 10‑15 days per month.
