Urgent Line Cook Position – Canada Hospitality

About the role

Hirez Manpower Solutions Inc. is seeking immediate‑join line cooks for multiple hospitality employers across Canada. The role is fast‑paced, requiring strong kitchen experience, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver consistent, high‑quality dishes in a busy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to standardized recipes and quality guidelines.
• Handle preparation of bar food, snacks, appetizers, and casual‑dining items.
• Assist with daily kitchen preparation tasks and maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and support stock management.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service teams during peak hours.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a line cook, cook, or kitchen associate in a professional kitchen.
• Good understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
• Familiarity with bar food and snack preparation is preferred.
• Multi‑cuisine experience is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
