Research Assistant – Neurology (Tech 2)

About the role

The Connolly Laboratory in the Department of Paediatrics is seeking a Research Assistant/Tech 2 to support neurology studies focused on pediatric neuromuscular diseases. The role involves chart review, case report form completion, and electronic data entry, contributing directly to high‑quality clinical research.

Key responsibilities

• Review patient charts and complete case report forms (CRFs) for neurology studies.
• Design spreadsheets and enter data accurately into electronic systems.
• Maintain and organize study patient logs, CRFs, and related project files.
• Contact families of enrolled patients to schedule follow‑up visits.
• Ensure studies adhere to ethical guidelines, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit reports on adverse events and serious adverse events.
• Collaborate with the Principal Investigator, research director, nurses, and clerical staff to review data results.
