Production Associate – Food Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Production Associate to join our food manufacturing team in Calgary. You will work across kitchen, plating, pick‑and‑pack and shipping areas, ensuring that raw ingredients are handled safely and meals are prepared, packaged and shipped to customers in compliance with all safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store and prepare raw ingredients according to GMP and SQF policies.
• Assist cooks and chefs during cooking, plating, and packaging of meals.
• Weigh, portion and pack products accurately for customer orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, work areas and waste streams.
• Follow OH&S regulations, wear required PPE and report hazards.
• Participate in training, cross‑training and continuous‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lb and stand for long periods in a refrigerated environment (0 °C‑4 °C).
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.
• One year experience in a food production facility is an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Familiarity with Google Apps.
