Senior/Intermediate Electrical Engineer

About the role

Vista Projects is seeking a Senior or Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join its multidisciplinary team. Reporting to the discipline lead, you will contribute to the design and delivery of complex oil and gas projects from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Design component parts and individual units for process facilities.
• Control costs and ensure designs conform to estimates and project specifications.
• Supervise electrical design activities across multiple complex process units.
• Develop design criteria, specifications, calculations, drawings, models and bills of material.
• Perform detailed engineering calculations and interface with client representatives.
• Maintain project schedules, track engineering tasks and deliverables.
• Review vendor/subcontractor quotations, drawings and specifications for technical adequacy.
• Assign work, review technical output of junior staff and provide guidance.
• Prepare discipline inputs for cost estimates and support construction activities.
• Attend site visits and comply with safety requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in facilities engineering and design.
• Experience in oil and gas or related industrial processing projects.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.
• Strong communication skills for client and vendor interactions.
