About the role

The Durham Catholic District School Board is seeking qualified Junior and Intermediate Elementary Teachers for a permanent, full‑time posting effective August 27, 2026. At least five positions will be filled, with the school location to be announced.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess curriculum for Junior and Intermediate elementary grades.
• Create inclusive learning environments that reflect the diversity of students, staff, and the community.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to support student success.
• Develop and share a division‑specific lesson plan as part of the interview process.

Required profile

• Current certification in good standing from the Ontario College of Teachers.
• Specific Junior/Intermediate elementary teaching qualifications.
