Part‑time Team Lead – Metropolis at Metrotown

About the role

As a Part‑time Team Lead at RW&CO’s Metropolis at Metrotown store, you will work closely with the management team to keep daily operations running smoothly while inspiring your colleagues to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support store performance by helping achieve sales targets and aligning with company KPIs.
• Assist with day‑to‑day operations, including policy compliance, loss prevention, opening/closing routines, cash handling, report generation and scheduling.
• Maintain high visual merchandising standards to create a clean, welcoming environment.
• Coach and develop team members through training, feedback and performance monitoring.
• Facilitate clear communication with the Store Manager and other leaders to ensure aligned priorities.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, resolve customer concerns and uphold service standards.

Required profile

• At least 6 months of leadership or supervisory experience in a retail or customer‑focused setting.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and motivational abilities.
• Customer‑first mindset with a passion for fashion and current style trends.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of store operations such as scheduling, cash management, merchandising and inventory flow.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends and holidays; able to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lb and use a step ladder.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Familiarity with ATS systems.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.
