Packaging Operator – Rotational Shifts

Labatt Breweries of Canada is seeking a Packaging Operator to work on a rotational schedule (day, evening, night) at its London brewery. The role involves following standard operating procedures, ensuring safety compliance, performing quality checks, handling raw materials and finished beer, and participating in continuous‑improvement initiatives such as SDCA and VPO.

Key duties include material handling (transfer, milling, weighing of grain and ingredients), operating re‑work staging areas, conducting process quality control, cleaning and sanitising brewing equipment, and maintaining accurate records of sampling and testing. The operator must communicate proactively with teammates and supervisors, adhere to HACCP standards and brewery rules, and be ready to assist with troubleshooting and production issues.

The successful candidate will be available for shift work, overtime, weekends and holidays, and be able to meet the physical demands of lifting, climbing stairs, and working in warm, cold, damp or noisy environments while wearing required personal protective equipment. A strong attendance record, ability to work with minimal supervision, and basic computer proficiency for Labatt systems are required.
