About the role
We are seeking a full‑time teacher to deliver all core subjects to students in Grades 7‑9 within the Winnipeg School Division. The successful candidate will join a diverse team dedicated to fostering equity, inclusion and academic rigour for approximately 32,000 learners across Winnipeg.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess curriculum for core subjects (e.g., mathematics, language arts, science, social studies) for Grades 7‑9.
- Create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that reflects the division’s equity values.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and community partners to support student learning and wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate records, report on student progress and participate in professional development activities.
Required profile
- Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate.
- Commitment to the division’s Employment Equity policy and willingness to undergo child abuse registry and police information checks.
- Ability to obtain reasonable accommodations if needed during the interview process.
