Full-Time Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy

About the role

Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Pharmacist to join the team at Remedy's Rx Drug Mart in Bay Roberts, Newfoundland and Labrador. You will provide patient‑focused clinical services and ensure safe, effective medication use within a community setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct medication reviews, chronic disease management, and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer vaccines and immunizations in accordance with provincial regulations.
• Assess drug therapy appropriateness, monitor effectiveness, side effects, and interactions.
• Counsel patients on prescriptions, over‑the‑counter products, and proper medication storage.
• Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists performing restricted activities.
• Maintain compliance with federal, provincial, and regulatory pharmacy standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Support daily pharmacy operations and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the College of Pharmacy of Newfoundland and Labrador.
• Current injection certification.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and thrive in a team environment.
