Construction Manager – Townhome Portfolio

About the role

The developer is seeking a Construction Manager to lead a growing portfolio of townhome projects in Vancouver. This developer‑side position oversees projects from development permit (DP) approval through to final completion, focusing on coordination, consultant management, and vendor/trade selection rather than direct site work.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple townhome projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Coordinate consultants, architects, engineers, and trade partners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee the development permit (DP) process and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Select and manage vendors and trades, negotiating contracts and monitoring performance.
• Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on project status, risks, and opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering wood‑frame multi‑family or townhome developments end‑to‑end.
• Demonstrated ability to manage several projects at once in a fast‑moving environment.
• Familiarity with the Vancouver development permit (DP) process is an asset.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
