Construction Superintendent – Vancouver

About the role

Froude Management Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead the ICI project in Vancouver. You will be responsible for safety leadership, client relations, and guiding the on‑site team to deliver high‑quality work on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the company safety program for the site team and subcontractors.
• Maintain client relationships through clear communication and proper documentation.
• Provide direction, mentorship, and performance feedback to FMI field staff.
• Lead foreman meetings, motivate the site crew and subcontractors, and ensure high workmanship standards.
• Review budgets and estimates with the Project Manager, track costs, and anticipate issues that could cause delays.
• Verify the accuracy of drawings and documents, enforce subcontractor contracts, and flag scope discrepancies.
• Create and maintain project schedules using standard scheduling software.
• Monitor equipment and supply placement to meet site needs.
• Identify training needs, support apprenticeship programs, and assist with field staff development.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of progressive construction supervision/superintendent experience in Vancouver, BC.
• Strong leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven competence in safety, people management, project execution, cost control, quality, and administration.
• Knowledge of local, provincial, and federal workplace compliance regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project scheduling software.
