Senior Project Manager – Commercial Construction

About the role

Gibraltar Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple tenant‑improvement (TI) projects across the Lower Mainland and broader BC region. You will own the full project lifecycle—from tender through close‑out—across medical, office, retail, and financial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage several TI projects simultaneously, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget.
• Collaborate closely with on‑site Site Managers while directing planning, margin control, subcontractor coordination, and client relationships from the office.
• Oversee project financials, risk assessments, and contract administration.
• Maintain high‑quality standards and ensure successful project close‑out.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects as a general contractor.
• Strong background in tenant‑improvement projects across multiple building types.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple projects without compromising quality.
• Confidence in handling budgets, margins, risk, and client relationships.
• Highly organized, accountable, and self‑directed.

Required skills

• Base salary $90,000–$110,000 CAD plus performance‑based bonus, total compensation typically $120,000–$160,000 CAD.
