Construction Labourer and Helper

About the role

We are looking for a reliable construction labourer and helper to join our team in West Vancouver. You will work on various building sites, supporting skilled tradespeople in daily construction activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and constructing roof structures, ensuring materials are correctly positioned.
• Support demolition crews by safely taking down structures and separating reusable components.
• Clean work areas, pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and debris to maintain a safe site.
• Dig ditches and trenches for utilities and foundations, following site plans and safety guidelines.
• Transport tools and supplies across multiple locations using your own vehicle.

Required profile

• Physically demanding work capability, including lifting and handling loads up to 23 kg (50 lb).
• Experience of 1 to less than 7 months in construction or related field.
• Valid driver’s licence and personal transportation to travel between sites.
• Ability to work outdoors in noisy, dusty environments and adapt to varying weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety procedures and teamwork on construction sites.
