Civil/Systems Interface Specialist

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Civil/Systems Interface Specialist to join the multidisciplinary team delivering the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension in Ontario. The specialist will act as the central point of contact for all interface matters between rail systems, civil works, utilities, municipalities and third‑party owners throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, document and coordinate interface requirements across design, construction, testing and commissioning phases.
• Supervise, review and control interface deliverables produced by designers, contractors, subcontractors and external stakeholders.
• Lead interface meetings, resolve conflicts and ensure seamless integration of civil and systems components.
• Maintain up‑to‑date interface registers and provide regular status reports to project management.
• Collaborate with utility providers, municipal authorities and other external parties to secure necessary approvals and align schedules.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing civil‑systems interfaces on large rail or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle from design through commissioning.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
