About the role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead our expansion and supply acquisition efforts across Canada, focusing on the sneaker and fashion segments. The role requires a deep understanding of local market trends, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to work closely with cross‑functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Drive business growth and secure new suppliers in the Canadian market, especially within sneaker and fashion categories.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to launch promotional initiatives.
- Conduct weekly analysis of sales and inventory data, forecast demand, and optimize supply‑demand matching.
- Monitor daily business metrics, manage vendor communications, negotiate pricing, and support data‑driven decision making.
- Develop and execute supply acquisition strategies, leading regular business reviews (weekly to annual) to align planning.
- Improve seller order‑fulfillment performance and resolve operational issues.
- Achieve assigned revenue and growth targets.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in account management or business development, with at least 3 years in e‑commerce.
- Familiarity with sneaker, luxury, handbag, watch, and hype‑culture sectors is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the Canadian e‑commerce landscape, channel distribution, and consumer trends.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, self‑driven, proactive, and excellent communicator.
- Ability to lead cross‑department projects, adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment, and present confidently.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
