About the role
Captivea, a specialist in Odoo integration, is expanding its footprint in Canada and is looking for a Business Developer based in Calgary. You will be responsible for establishing the company’s presence, building a local network, and generating new revenue streams through Odoo‑based solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and nurture a professional network by attending events, meetups, trade shows and business clubs.
- Identify and qualify prospects, build trust‑based relationships with decision‑makers, and increase Captivea’s visibility in the local ecosystem.
- Conduct high‑impact product demonstrations, tailor Odoo solutions to client needs, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
- Maintain long‑term client partnerships and act as a trusted advisor throughout digital transformation projects.
- Contribute directly to Captivea’s growth objectives in the Canadian market.
Required profile
- 3–4 years of experience in business development or sales.
- Background in IT, ERP or digital solutions; experience with Odoo is a strong plus.
- Hunter mindset with a results‑driven approach and ability to build a network from scratch.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Autonomous, proactive and entrepreneurial attitude.
- Fluent English; French is a plus.
