Business Analyst – Banking & Financial Services

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join its Banking and Financial Services practice. The role focuses on delivering complex projects within the wealth management domain, translating business needs into actionable technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit high‑level business requirements and assess feasibility for technology initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture data flows, document existing processes, and create use cases, workflows, and sequence diagrams.
• Work closely with Agile teams, product owners, and project managers to ensure development aligns with business goals.
• Produce detailed functional and non‑functional specifications for multiple audiences.
• Develop test cases, support end‑user testing, and validate that solutions meet requirements.
• Provide analytical and technical consulting, diagnose issues, and recommend solutions.

Required profile

• Several years of Business Analyst experience delivering complex projects in the banking or financial services sector.
• Preferable experience in wealth management.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to break down strategic problems.
• Ability to work independently and handle non‑routine situations.
