About the role
Join WSP’s Vancouver office as an Administrative Support Assistant and play a key operational role in a people‑centered environment. You will help keep the team organized, connected, and ready to deliver impactful environmental and infrastructure projects across British Columbia.
Key responsibilities
- Support daily office operations to create a welcoming and productive workplace for employees and visitors.
- Coordinate meetings, trainings, and events, preparing materials, logistics, presentations, and follow‑up actions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, handling inquiries with clarity and a solution‑focused mindset.
- Maintain digital and physical information systems, including file organization, SharePoint updates, data entry, and document retrieval.
- Assist with onboarding activities for new hires in the Earth & Environment business line.
- Troubleshoot basic office and meeting‑room technology issues and liaise with IT as needed.
- Manage supplies, PPE, business cards, catering, travel arrangements, and expense submissions.
- Collaborate with Business Support colleagues in BC and Yukon on shared projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of administrative or coordination experience, preferably in professional services or technical consulting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and keep stakeholders informed.
- Curious, proactive attitude toward problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
- Warm, collaborative mindset that contributes to a positive workplace culture.
- Post‑secondary education in administration or a related field is an asset.
- Valid driver’s licence is an asset.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Office 365 tools: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, OneDrive, SharePoint.
