SAP Domain Leader – Supply Chain

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Domain Leader to drive the functional design, implementation and continuous improvement of the SAP Manufacturing solution for a fast‑growing international food company operating in North America and Canada. The role acts as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and the IT organisation, ensuring that the SAP landscape delivers business value and complies with global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, draft specifications, estimate costs and create project plans for SAP initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical SAP solutions while considering the existing IT landscape.
• Coordinate with business partners, external consultants and internal IT teams to keep projects on schedule, within budget and of high quality.
• Oversee solution development, deployment, acceptance testing and ensure compliance with initial requirements.
• Maintain day‑to‑day operation of the SAP Manufacturing domain, handling corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Identify root causes of issues, implement permanent fixes and propose simplifications and standardisations.
• Monitor domain activities, support change requests and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, practical experience leading SAP functional projects in a manufacturing or supply‑chain environment.
• Proven ability to act as a liaison between business and IT, translating needs into actionable solutions.
• Strong project‑management skills with experience in scope definition, budgeting and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience in supporting and maintaining SAP applications in production.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑growing, multi‑site organisation.
