Receptionist – Front Desk & Visitor Management

About the role
OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a friendly and organised Receptionist to be the first point of contact for visitors, callers and couriers. Working Monday to Friday mornings, you will ensure a professional and welcoming front‑desk experience while supporting the facilities management team.
Key responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming calls on the switchboard, providing accurate information and taking messages.
- Welcome all visitors, issue security identification, and notify hosts of their arrival.
- Manage meeting‑room bookings, monitor daily schedules and coordinate room set‑up with operatives.
- Arrange taxi services and courier collections, ensuring timely receipt and dispatch of consignments.
- Maintain a clean, tidy reception area and replenish supplies as needed.
Required profile
- Excellent customer‑service orientation with strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workload and keep multiple issues progressing simultaneously.
- Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Flexible, team‑oriented attitude and a proactive problem‑solving mindset.
