About the role
We are seeking a Senior System Administrator to join a fast‑paced, remote‑first organization in Canada. You will ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of internal IT operations while supporting employees across multiple regions and time zones.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical support to internal users in a globally distributed environment.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, VPN, Citrix, and access‑management issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and provisioning in Google Workspace and Active Directory.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain Windows and macOS devices.
- Administer endpoint management and MDM solutions such as Microsoft Intune and Jamf.
- Handle support tickets via Jira or similar ITSM tools, meeting SLA targets.
- Maintain IT equipment inventory and assist with hardware lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to improve systems and user experience.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate IT support or system administration.
- Strong knowledge of Google Workspace and Active Directory.
- Hands‑on experience with MDM/endpoint tools (Intune, Jamf or equivalents).
- Proven ability to support Windows and macOS environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, networking, and remote‑access technologies.
- Effective communication and a customer‑focused mindset.
