Senior Project Manager – Healthcare I&IT Transformation

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead a high‑profile OPS I&IT healthcare initiative focused on consolidating the Immunization Repository. This role oversees end‑to‑end project delivery, ensuring alignment with OPS methodologies and digital health standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and control a complex healthcare I&IT transformation project from initiation to transition.
• Develop and maintain charters, integrated plans, schedules, budgets, change requests, status reports, risk and issue logs, and close‑out documentation.
• Manage project financials, forecasts, and reporting using Planview.
• Engage senior ministry stakeholders, clinicians, health sector partners, delivery teams, and end users.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, resource plans, and integrated delivery schedules.
• Lead risk, issue, dependency, critical‑path, variance, and change‑control activities.
• Support testing, change management, training, communications, and transition to operations.
• Participate in steering committees, working groups, and senior executive reporting sessions.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience with federal, provincial or public‑sector healthcare providers.
• Proven track record leading large, complex I&IT transformation projects with high public‑sector visibility.
• Experience working closely with clinicians and health‑sector stakeholders to define and deliver requirements under tight deadlines.
• Strong background in both Agile and Waterfall project environments.
