Senior Architectural Technologist / Junior Architect

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Technologist with 10+ years of experience or a Junior Architect to support the full lifecycle of construction projects. The role involves design development, construction documentation, and coordination across residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, and modular sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings, permit packages, and construction documents using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Develop detailed plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and specifications.
• Collaborate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil consultants.
• Assist with conceptual design, space planning, and technical problem solving.
• Review building code requirements, zoning regulations, and permit submissions.
• Conduct site reviews, field measurements, and construction inspections.
• Respond to RFIs, shop drawings, and submittals during construction.
• Support project scheduling, budgeting, and overall coordination.
• Mentor junior drafting or technical staff where applicable.

Required profile

• Diploma in Architectural Technology or a degree in Architecture.
• 10+ years of relevant industry experience (for senior level) or recent graduate for junior level.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and detailing.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
