About the role
Join a locally owned Pharmaprix store and gain hands‑on experience in a community pharmacy setting. This student placement is designed to complement your pharmacy studies by exposing you to real‑world pharmacy operations and patient interaction.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers entering the pharmacy, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and manage consent according to privacy regulations.
- Support pharmacists with over‑the‑counter product recommendations and basic counseling.
- Help with inventory organization and ensure the pharmacy area is clearly identifiable to the public.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled in a pharmacy program and eligible for a student placement.
- Strong interest in community pharmacy and patient care.
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers, staff and health‑care professionals.
Required skills
- Knowledge of OTC products, disease‑state management and basic drug therapy concepts.
- Understanding of privacy and confidentiality requirements in a pharmacy setting.
