Pharmacist – Dispensary

About the role

CareRx is seeking a Pharmacist to join its Edmonton team, focusing on dispensing and patient‑care services for senior living communities. Reporting to the Designated Pharmacy Manager, the Staff Pharmacist ensures prescriptions are filled accurately, safely, and in line with therapeutic best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to dispense medication orders accurately, safely, and on time.
• Verify safe and appropriate medication administration, including critical and palliative‑care prescriptions.
• Arrange drug deliveries with the delivery team and manage rapid response scenarios.
• Conduct medication regimen/profile reviews and document recommendations.
• Communicate professionally with resident‑care teams, patients, and home partners.
• Follow all provincial and federal pharmacy laws and corporate policies.

Required profile

• Qualified Pharmacist able to work under the direction of the Designated Pharmacy Manager.
• Ability to resolve day‑to‑day work issues in consultation with pharmacy management.
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer care to patients and partners.
