Data Entry Specialist – Laboratory Operations

About the role

Join Sonic Healthcare USA as a Data Entry Specialist on the third shift, supporting our clinical laboratory operations. You will ensure accurate entry of patient, client, billing, and test information while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Enter patient, client, billing and test data into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Identify when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions.
• Work safely in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and required PPE.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality‑control practices.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment such as telephones, computers, centrifuges, and audible alarms.
• 1–2 years of related experience in a clinical laboratory, data entry, or production is a plus.
