About the role
The Recreational Therapist joins Vancouver Coastal Health to deliver therapeutic recreation services to patients in Sechelt. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, the therapist designs and implements programs that promote health, prevent injury, and support recovery.
Key responsibilities
- Consult with other health care professionals to evaluate and develop treatment plans.
- Prepare and implement individualized therapy programs for each patient.
- Provide education on health promotion, injury prevention, and treatment management.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in recreational therapy.
- Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) plus CPR and First Aid certifications.
