About the role
Join Safeway’s bakery team in Winnipeg and provide friendly, professional service to customers. Working under the Bakery Manager, you will prepare baked goods for purchase and help create an engaging environment for both employees and shoppers.
Key responsibilities
- Provide customer service to meet customer needs
- Perform bakery administration tasks
- Prepare baked items for customer purchase
- Maintain the bakery production area
- Provide bakery training to new staff
- Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
Required profile
- Basic level of bakery knowledge
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
- High school diploma
- Minimum of three months experience
