About the role
The Canadian Brewhouse is seeking a Manager of Learning and Development to lead corporate training strategy across its hospitality and retail brands. You will design, implement and continuously improve learning programs that support performance and growth for all employees.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify performance gaps.
- Oversee creation, maintenance and optimisation of training materials and digital learning platforms.
- Develop and evolve internal Career Paths and Manager‑in‑Training programs.
- Manage rollout of new processes, materials and systems to ensure consistent guest experiences.
- Act as the primary administrator for learning platforms, handling user access, bug fixes and technical support.
- Provide regular analytics reports on training readiness and effectiveness.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, Human Resources or related field (preferred).
- 3‑5 years of experience in a training or HR role, preferably in hospitality or retail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with competency‑based training and performance management.
- Knowledge of project management principles and ability to assess training needs.
- Technical experience in data analytics and reporting.
