Junior Interior Designer

About the role

B+H Architects, part of the Surbana Jurong group, is seeking a motivated Junior Interior Designer for its Toronto studio. The role focuses on corporate workspace design, supporting senior designers and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating compelling proposals and presentation materials.
• Accompany senior colleagues to client meetings and act as an effective presenter.
• Develop space‑planning layouts that meet program requirements, functional needs, and building codes.
• Contribute to 2D and 3D design concepts, producing high‑quality renderings.
• Research, recommend, and present finishes and furnishings aligned with aesthetic, environmental, and budget criteria.
• Prepare documentation for selection, specification, procurement, and installation of furnishings and equipment.
• Support the production of design development and contract documents using Revit and AutoCAD.

Required profile

• Creative, detail‑oriented, and driven to succeed.
• Strong team player comfortable in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Ability to interact with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and regulators.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
