Hospitalist – Acute Care Physician

About the role

Fraser Health is seeking dedicated physicians to join the Hospital Medicine program at Langley Memorial Hospital. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality inpatient care as the Most Responsible Physician for acute‑care patients.

Key responsibilities

• Admit and manage “unattached” patients as the Most Responsible Physician.
• Provide supportive care for selected surgical and specialty medical patients.
• Collaborate with an inter‑professional team including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and allied health staff.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives that have reduced mortality ratios and length of stay.

Required profile

• License (or eligibility) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
• CCFP or equivalent, or FRCP credentials.
• Hospitalist experience, fellowship, or membership in professional hospital‑medicine societies is an asset.

Required skills

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (strongly suggested).
