Fishing Program Lead Guide

About the role

Arctic Kingdom is seeking an experienced and passionate Fishing Program Lead Guide to develop and grow its fishing program while delivering exceptional guest experiences at a remote northern lodge.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain fishing site knowledge, mapping, GPS locations, seasonal patterns, and species‑specific information.
• Build and organize structured fishing experiences, including local lake and fly‑out excursions.
• Supervise and mentor fishing and guiding staff, support onboarding, training and scheduling.
• Lead fishing excursions, conduct guest briefings, safety orientations and share knowledge of northern ecology.
• Maintain fishing equipment, boats, tackle and coordinate excursion logistics.

Required profile

• Strong freshwater fishing knowledge of northern species such as lake trout, northern pike, walleye and inconnu.
• Experience guiding fishing excursions in remote or wilderness environments (preferred).
• Leadership or mentorship experience within guiding teams (asset).
• Valid boating certification (Pleasure Craft Operator Card or equivalent) and First Aid/CPR certification.

Required skills

• Pleasure Craft Operator Card (or equivalent boating certification).
• First Aid/CPR certification; Wilderness First Aid preferred.
• Boating, navigation and wilderness safety skills.
