Entry Level Sales Assistant

About the role

Distinct Vancouver is expanding its sales team and is looking for an enthusiastic Entry Level Sales Assistant to represent a nationally recognised client in retail and event environments across Greater Vancouver. This hands‑on, face‑to‑face role offers full training and ongoing coaching to help you develop strong communication and commercial awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers at in‑store promotions, pop‑up events and retail activations.
• Explain products and services clearly and professionally.
• Support daily and weekly performance goals.
• Assist with setup, presentation and breakdown of promotional areas.
• Participate in coaching sessions and team development workshops.

Required profile

• Individuals at the start of their career or exploring a new direction.
• Confident communicators eager to develop their skills.
• People‑oriented, reliable team players with a positive attitude.
• Experience in retail, hospitality, promotions or customer service is helpful but not required.
