DevOps Lead – Azure DevOps, CI/CD & Kubernetes

About the role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Lead to drive the design, implementation, and optimisation of CI/CD pipelines on Azure DevOps for a major banking client. The role is remote‑first, based in Toronto, and will run for 6–12 months, focusing on containerisation, automation, and security integration.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GIT, Jenkins and Nexus.
• Containerise applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes.
• Integrate security scanning tools into build pipelines.
• Collaborate with development teams to support .NET application releases.
• Manage artifacts, defects and application flow across Waterfall and Agile projects.

Required profile

• 10–12 years of overall IT experience with 4–6 years dedicated to DevOps.
• Hands‑on experience automating CI/CD pipelines on Azure DevOps.
• Proven track record setting up pipelines with Jenkins, GIT and Nexus.
• Strong background in Docker, Kubernetes and .NET development.
• Experience in banking projects, particularly payments, is a plus.
