Technology Specialist Co‑op – Fall 2026

About the role

The Technology Specialist Co‑op supports BCI employees with their technology needs during the Fall 2026 term (September‑December). You will join the Technology Service Desk team, providing first‑level assistance and gaining exposure to enterprise IT environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level technical support via ticketing system, in‑person visits, phone calls, and remote sessions.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Perform account management tasks such as password resets, permission changes, and access requests.
• Assist users with file, folder, and network resource access.
• Support software packaging, printer management, and patch management activities.
• Receive structured training through a graduated access framework.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a technology‑related program (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Network Administration).
• Available to work full‑time from September to December 2026.
• Strong interest in supporting end‑users and learning enterprise IT processes.
