Course Lecturer – Anatomy and Physiology (Fall 2026)

About the role

The Department of Kinesiology & Physical Education at McGill University is seeking a qualified individual to co‑teach the Anatomy and Physiology course (EDKP 293) in the Fall 2026 semester. This on‑site position involves delivering lectures, guiding student learning, and contributing to curriculum development.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑teach weekly lectures (MW 08:35 am – 09:55 am) for the Anatomy and Physiology course.
• Prepare and present instructional materials that are accessible to students without a science background.
• Design and evaluate assessments, assignments, and practical sessions.
• Collaborate with the co‑instructor and department faculty to ensure course objectives are met.
• Maintain academic standards and provide timely feedback to students.

Required profile

• Minimum of a master’s degree in a related field; PhD preferred.
• At least two years of university‑level teaching experience in physiology, exercise physiology, or anatomy.
• Ability to teach complex scientific concepts to non‑science majors.
• Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work in Quebec.
• Proficiency in English communication, both spoken and written.
