Course Lecturer – Fundamentals of Project Management

About the role

McGill University’s School of Continuing Studies is seeking a Course Lecturer to deliver the “Fundamentals of Project Management” (CGMG 210) to undergraduate and professional learners. The position involves teaching the course on campus in Montreal, Monday through Saturday, and contributing to an inclusive learning environment for diverse student groups.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, lead discussions and facilitate learning activities for the Fundamentals of Project Management course.
• Prepare and update course materials in alignment with the curriculum.
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams and provide constructive feedback.
• Support Indigenous learners (First Nations, Inuit, Métis) and promote culturally responsive teaching.
• Collaborate with the Management and Entrepreneurship hiring unit to ensure course quality.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant field; PhD preferred.
• PMP designation.
• Teaching experience in a university or corporate setting.
• Extensive, current professional experience in project management.
• Experience teaching First Nations, Inuit and Métis learners is an asset.
• Eligibility to work in Canada and willingness to work in Quebec.
