Assistant/Associate Professor (Clinical) – Pediatric Urology

About the role

The Department of Pediatric Surgery, Division of Pediatric Urology at McGill University invites applications for a full‑time, three‑year renewable appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor (Clinical). The successful candidate will join the clinical team at Montreal Children’s Hospital and Shriner’s Hospital Canada, providing comprehensive pediatric urologic care and contributing to the academic mission of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality surgical and medical care for children with congenital and acquired genitourinary conditions.
• Participate in undergraduate and graduate clinical teaching, supervising medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary clinic that includes physicians, nurses, occupational and physical therapists.
• Engage in community outreach clinics and contribute to research initiatives within the division.
• Maintain an active clinical practice at both Montreal Children’s Hospital and Shriner’s Hospital Canada.

Required profile

• Board‑certified pediatric urologist with experience in the full spectrum of pediatric urologic surgery.
• Demonstrated ability to teach and mentor trainees in a clinical setting.
• Strong commitment to academic excellence, research, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Eligibility to practice medicine in Quebec or willingness to obtain necessary licensure.
