Assistant/Associate Professor (Clinical) – Pediatric Plastic Surgery

About the role

The Department of Pediatric Surgery at McGill University seeks a full‑time Assistant or Associate Professor (Clinical) to join the Division of Pediatric Plastic Surgery. This three‑year, renewable appointment involves clinical practice, teaching, and research within the Montreal Children’s Hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Provide state‑of‑the‑art surgical care to pediatric patients at the Montreal Children’s Hospital.
• Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows in plastic surgery.
• Develop and lead research projects, supervise MSc and PhD students, and publish findings.
• Participate in departmental and division meetings, contributing to curriculum development and quality improvement.

Required profile

• Medical degree with board certification in pediatric plastic surgery.
• Significant clinical experience in pediatric and craniofacial surgery.
• Demonstrated record of academic scholarship and peer‑reviewed publications.
• Ability to mentor trainees and contribute to surgical education.
