Workday Integration Specialist, Senior Associate

About the role

PwC is hiring a Workday Integration Specialist (Senior Associate) in its Application Evolution Services (AES) consulting practice in Ottawa. The consultant provides broad Workday consulting services to clients, helping them optimise operational efficiency and achieve their strategic objectives. The role sits within managed services, where a team of problem solvers moves clients from assessment and development through to deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Gather customer integration requirements and map them to Workday functionality
• Build integrations to legacy systems and external suppliers using Workday Connectors, Studio and Reports
• Help the customer and systems team test Workday integrations
• Facilitate knowledge transfer, educate customers on the Workday solution and give constructive feedback during design workshops
• Collaborate with colleagues, share ideas for improvement and follow risk management and compliance procedures
• Create documentation and training materials and keep up to date with developments in the field

Required profile

• Exceptional written and verbal communication, able to work with people at all levels
• Detail-oriented, analytical and passionate about learning how things work
• HR, Finance or technology background is a plus
• Understanding of functional components of HR or Finance systems, system implementation and technical support concepts
• Understanding of Object models or RDBMS models

Required skills

• Ability to learn Workday tools within the development environment
• Experience with development frameworks (e.g. Eclipse) and ERP
• Experience building integrations with cloud platforms (Workday preferred, but Salesforce or others)

The salary range is $84,700 - $134,700, and eligible employees may participate in variable incentive pay programs. The position follows the departure of a valued team member and offers a hybrid work environment.
