Welder – Permanent Full‑time Position

About the role

We are seeking a skilled welder to interpret welding process specifications and operate a range of welding and metal‑shaping equipment at our Bolton facility. The role involves fabricating and repairing metal parts while ensuring all work meets required standards.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret welding process specifications and read blue‑prints, drawings and manuals.
• Operate manual, semi‑automatic and fully automated welding equipment.
• Perform flame‑cutting, oxygen‑arc cutting and metal‑shaping operations using brakes, shears and bending machines.
• Fit, braze, torch‑straighten and repair metal components.
• Determine weldability of materials and operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
• Maintain and carry out minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of welding experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong client focus, excellent oral and written communication, and ability to work well in a team.
