Warehouse Support Specialist

About the role

ABB is hiring a Warehouse Support Specialist in Bromont, contributing to its Smart Power and Smart Building division in Canada. The role manages and leads the end-to-end quality process from identification in Bromont through formal case closure, and acts as the main link between Warehouse Operations, Planning & Fulfillment, Commercial Operations and the Montreal head office Quality Department. It is an on-site position reporting to the Electrification Customer Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Receive notifications of SPSB material damage from the receiving team, evaluate non-conformities and decide whether to hold, return or inspect, then coordinate the NCR process for factory returns
• Create quality cases in SAP/MARC with full traceability and support Quality team inspections
• Coordinate the shipment of defective products to the Montreal campus for analysis and repair, and the return of repaired materials
• Ensure SAP/MARC transactions are completed accurately and keep data in the ERP systems complete and accurate
• Manage deliveries between MARC and SAP for SPSB products and take part in regular inventory control
• Apply HSE concepts, reporting and risk awareness, and uphold ABB's values, code of conduct and regulatory requirements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Proficiency in French is mandatory, plus English to communicate with partners outside Quebec
• Available to travel up to 10% of the time
• Strong analytical problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills, able to handle multiple tasks

Required skills

• Proficiency in MARC WMS, SAP and other relevant software tools
• Quality assurance, inventory control and logistics coordination
