Planning and Procurement Supervisor

About the role

As a Planning and Procurement Supervisor at ABB's Installation Products division, you will lead supply planning, inventory management and resource management at the manufacturing facility in Montreal Nord. You will drive planning initiatives to improve customer on-time delivery and reduce lead times, ensuring adherence to inventory targets and supply plan execution. The role is based in Montreal and is 100% onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Own the site supply planning process, including demand forecasting and supply chain optimization
• Provide visibility of supply capacity and local supply objectives into the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process
• Run short-term planning and Sales & Operations Execution processes, aligning planning and execution teams
• Support profitable execution of customer orders with business functions and supply units
• Optimize inventory levels to balance customer service with working capital efficiency
• Work with production, quality and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and contribute to continuous improvement

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in supply planning, inventory management or related supply chain functions
• Proven track record in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management or equivalent
• Fluent in English and French; English needed to communicate with clients outside Quebec

Required skills

• Supply chain planning tools, demand forecasting methodologies and ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus)
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations, production scheduling and inventory optimization
• Nice to have: experience with electrical products or industrial manufacturing, Lean or Six Sigma, SAP Torque platform, CSCP or APICS certification
