Storekeeper

About the role

ABB is hiring a storekeeper in Saint-Laurent. The storekeeper receives and places products in the storeroom, prepares products for shipment to internal or external customers, and takes part in tracking and inventory of stock. The work involves handling goods with forklifts and pallet trucks and using SAP for stock tracing.

Key responsibilities

• Control goods received against transport documents and label the goods
• Place goods in the storeroom according to the current locations
• Pick goods from the storeroom using a pick list
• Transport or process material for production or outside sales
• Package products for delivery to external customers
• Carry out inventory checks of items in the storeroom
• Keep the storeroom clean and safe at all times
• Handle items or pallets with electric and/or manual forklift trucks and pallet trucks
• Perform any other tasks given to support operations

Required profile

• High school diploma
• Spoken, written and reading knowledge of French
• 2-3 years of warehouse experience
• Valid forklift licence and experience operating various forklifts
• Ability to work at heights
• Respect for deadlines, accuracy, teamwork, strong sense of responsibility and strict adherence to safety rules
