Warehouse Coordinator

About the role

The Warehouse Coordinator supports daily warehouse operations by ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the role balances inbound, outbound, and inventory tasks while maintaining high data quality in the Warehouse Management System. This position is essential for smooth logistics flow and timely shipment delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Process inbound receipts and returns, and release outbound orders in the system.
• Pick, pack, label shipments, and assemble skids for dispatch.
• Enter and verify data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) using handheld RF scanners.
• Assign daily tasks to team members based on priorities and operational needs.
• Conduct regular physical and cycle inventory counts, investigate discrepancies, and escalate issues.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and shipment data.
• Monitor warehouse locations to ensure data accuracy within the WMS.
• Identify, report, and resolve damaged, missing, or misplaced inventory.
• Generate reports on inventory levels, order status, and operational performance.
• Communicate with drivers, team members, and stakeholders to support smooth operations.

Required profile

• Prior experience in distribution or manufacturing (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Material Handling Equipment (MHE) license; additional certifications may be required.
• Hazmat certification is an asset.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to lift packages up to 50 lb and perform physical tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Hands‑on use of handheld RF scanning equipment.
• Valid Material Handling Equipment (MHE) license.
• Hazmat handling knowledge (asset).
