Supply Chain Coordinator – Calgary

About the role

The incumbent will serve as the Company’s Supply Chain Coordinator and will lead all purchasing and supply chain activities for the Company’s Canadian operations. This role requires a combination of both management‑level forecasting, planning, and reporting as well as the hands‑on execution of repetitive administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Purchase a variety of commodities, equipment, and services while establishing and maintaining contracts and vendor relationships.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance through regular meetings and evaluations.
• Plan purchases based on operational schedules and forecasts, handling import logistics and customs documentation.
• Manage supplier payments, deposits, and invoice discrepancy resolution with Finance.
• Drive cost‑saving initiatives and supplier optimisation projects.
• Strengthen supply‑chain resiliency through proactive risk identification and mitigation.
• Coordinate movement, pickup, and delivery of equipment and materials, resolving in‑transit issues and claims.
• Maintain accurate receiving processes and documentation in internal systems.

Required profile

• Relevant post‑secondary credentials or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in a supply chain position.
• Extensive experience with purchasing.
• Technical expertise in procurement and inventory management for an industrial setting.
• Experience working in a drilling or manufacturing company.
• Strong attention to detail and record accuracy.
• Effective communicator and problem‑solver.
• Proactive and results‑driven, focused on supporting production readiness.
